Review-Epoch-Glacial Marine Mud Mask

This week we had the opportunity to try the “Epoch- Glacial Marine Mud Mask” courtesy of Rachel Lewis at Nu Skin.

I have tested this products three times and every time I really am amazed by the results.

Before I did the mask I looked like this (with make up on- silly me forgot to take it off!!)

I was excited to try this product and liked how big the tube was, the directions were easy to follow and you only use a tiny amount everytime, I would say one tube would last several months if used 3 times a week as suggested and at the price of £20 (not including Rachel’s current offers on the product) I think it is very reasonable. I was able to apply the product in less than two minutes and it wasn’t a messy procedure as some masks I have used previously. The feel on my skin was a smooth cream like texture that wasn’t as thick as I imagined it to be. The one thing I did find was it needs to be shook prior to use as it does separate when stood. There isn’t a smell to the product and is made with natural sea clay extract. The product can be used all over the body for treatments on acne, roseacea, psoriasis, and eczema. My partner has roseacea and the mask helped his skin no end and calmed the red rash and didn’t have any side affects.
The mask looks like this when on and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for it to completely dry.

Now for the results! I am not a spotty person but I do have a black head or two.. Or so I thought!! This mask shows every black head filled with oil that the mud gets into and cleans the pores deep down.

Yukkkk!!! My skin has a lot more oily and black head prone pores than I thought!!! And this is an improvement to mask one!!  You then have to wash the mask off with warm water, a bit of a messy business unless you use the flannel.. Otherwise your partner may get angry about the mud coloured walls and sink! (Sorry!!) but the results are great!! (This time with no make up!!) My skin feels smoother and brighter and less oily in my T-zone and less dry in other areas! All in all one of the best face masks I have ever tried!
