SURPRISE…. Babyshower time!
I’m naughty. I’m Nosy and Matt Is easy to weedle information out of! So when we were txting early one morning about me arranging a get together with friends before I was due, he slipped out that I was having a baby-shower thrown by my friends.
As a control freak I got them to tell me the destination and I would invite people. They agreed and I got quickly kicked out of the WhatsApp group.
Now with 5 weeks until the baby-shower I wanted to do something to say thanks to everyone for coming. I had requested no gifts, but I knew some naughty guests had still got them. So my thoughts were a thank you goody bag.
I decided to make these and wanted them to be extra special so I looked around at bits I wanted to include and I bought some bits and some bits were given to my by absolutely lovely PR’s.
Miniature Soaps-
The first thing we were given is stunning little pink rounds of soap individually packaged and smelling immense. The lovely Vicki from The Soap Mine offered 30 of these stunning hand made soaps, made in the stunning area of Wales. The soaps are such a gorgeous idea in the small rounds and all her soaps would make amazing gifts and favours- especially wedding favours! The flavour we were sent was Welsh Rose and I can confirm they smell absolutely blissful. Having used her products before I know how amazing they are on your skin and the range of products she does are absolutely fantastic. Go and check her out.
Aveeno Samples-
The next item we were sent were Aveeno Baby samples, some of the ladies may want to keep these for their little ones but they can be used on adults too they are just so versatile and are just more gentle on your skin. So these samples are great for a little treat for the skin, or great to pop in your gym bag or baby bag for when your in need. Check out Aveeno here.
Sanctuary in Shower Moisture-
This stuff is amazing and I have included it in my bags as I love it. The smell, the idea, the moisture it’s just a fantastic product and I know how much the ladies will love it too.
Nail Files-
Can you ever be without a nail file?! Even if you have short nails they catch and fray easily so I have included a double sided emery board in my bags too.
Sweeties-
Sweets make the world a better place! So if they need a quick nibble on the way home of something sweet I have included a little bag of sweets with a little sticker on to seal them.
Natvia sweetener and Nuttvia chocolate spread-
I have never heard of Natvia and Nuttvia before but when I looked into them they are great alternatives for sugary treats and 100% natural! The Natvia sweetener is a great alternative to using sugar in baking and makes a healthy alternative with no aftertaste. Nuttvia is a great tasting hazlenut spread which is rich and sweet without the sugar so great for a sweet treat without worrying about the calories or extra sugar in take- even better we also got sent the snack pots which include breadsticks to dip in a delectable pot of hazelnut spread- and yes the question on your lips…. there is enough chocolate to breadsticks ratio!! Popaball Prosecco Shimmer-
Who doesn’t love a Prosecco and even better a jazzy rose gold shimmery one?! Thanks to Popaball all of the ladies will be taking home some shimmer for those bubbles! We even have a full pot to use at the baby-shower itself! The Prosecco shimmer is just a powder you add to your drink (can include soft drinks) to give them an extra sparkle making you feel full on unicorn all night!
