Starting School Right with Start-Rite Shoes!

Last Year the girls Start-Rite shoes lasted them the whole year and were great when it came to running around, playing lunch time football and even when they fall over! Which if you know my children is at least 50% of the time!

With any pair of shoes you always want to know if they are going to last because you don’t want to shell out loads of money in July for the shoes to not be useable in December! Thankfully Start- Rite are amazing quality and if they can stand what my kids throw at them they can withstand anything!

After reviewing a pair of Start- Rite shoes last year, I was asked if I would like to again and I jumped at the chance, especially as Eliza is now in shoes and I hadn’t tried the tiny baby shoes!

Erin and Edith scrolled the website which is really easy to navigate and even has its own section for school shoes and what types you want! They loved lots of the styles but decided on the Twizzle for Edith and she has a 10.5 size- she is my tiny foot! And Erin had the Impress in a size 7 wide as they were quite a thin shoe- she’s my big foot!! I chose Eliza the Floret which is in a lovely pearlised leather colour with a daisy pattern on the top in a 3F.

All of the shoes are sturdy and have great durable soles as well as looking great too.

The ‘Impress’

Erin’s Impress shoe comes in two widths and is under the brand Angry Angels which are the older girls brand which are a cute Mary Jane style and have even got a Made for Mums Gold award in 2024. The soles are non marking and have air-rite technology which all teens need!!! We really like the style and they look like they are going to be a great shoe for this year.

Edith Chose the Swizzle because she loves a bow as do I!! They have a great toe bumper, which is perfect for my lunchtime footballer! (Yes bows and football!!)

‘Twizzle’

They have non marking soles, a removable insert and flexible groves. They also have a Made for mums award in 2024. The Velcro fastening ensures the shoes are easy on and off.

Eliza’s only just gone into shoes as she has only been walking two weeks. The Floret is a first walking shoe and has a flexible sole, wide toes to not squash the foot, a toe bumper for the first falls and a flexible toe.

They are great as they go on really easily with a Velcro fastening, which is perfect when you have a little one with the wiggles!

Start-Rite have such a huge range of shoes for great prices.
