Practical Valentines Gifts for all the family. #AD

If your house is anything like mine we have to have valentines for Erin as well as Matt and I. We rarely buy gifts as we always end up buying commercial ‘Tat’ a teddy that says ‘ I love you’ is not something I need in the house despite it being cute.

This year we are going with practical presents that we are actually able to use throughout the year. We have ideas for both Men, Women and kids if you like to get a little something for your children to keep them involved too.

Hugo Boss Sock Gift Set-

What Man doesn’t love socks?! Who am i kidding they probably don’t love them but my word they are practical. Matt spends his life getting holes in his socks or leaving one at the gym or a hotel room that he has stayed in with work. This Hugo Boss gift set not only looks great and has a sparkly gold box but can replace 3 pairs of the socks that have holes in that you have come across in the washing! At £25 they are also really reasonable on that ‘after Christmas pocket’. To buy yours head to Mainline Menswear.

Guylian Belgian Chocolates-

Now this one isn’t practical unless your using the ‘mood boosting’ properties of chocolate to your advantage but nearly everyone loves a box of chocolates. Guylian Belgian chocolates are so smooth and delicious they are bound to put a smile one anyone’s faces. Guylian have a fantastic range of chocolates in all sizes. You can buy them in most supermarkets and will make a great gift for any loved one this year.

Gourmet Coconut Bowls-

Ever fancied having your dinner in an eco friendly hand made Coconut bowl? Now is your chance! A stunning way to eat your meals is out of these 100% natural vegan bowls. These beautifully handcrafted bowls are made from reclaimed coconut shells. You can buy the bowls in sets of 2 and 4 and all come with spoons. They range from £14.95 to £19.95. These are a perfect gift for a combined household present or partner. You can buy them on Amazon. I even have a 10% off code until 31st March- TKCD9198

Ravensburger Disney Villains Puzzle-

Being huge Disney fans in this house this is the perfect gift for both of us. Not only that but its something we can do together which is almost like a date when you have a newborn isn’t it?! With 1000 pieces this puzzle it perfect for a family night or date night and includes villains such as Ursula, Evil Queen, Maleficent and the Queen of hearts. The puzzle is suitable for ages 12 and up. Check it out here.

ZeroWater Filter-

Another really practical gift for the one you love. In our house we have hard water and Matthew mainly drinks water. Therefore the ideal gift for him is this amazing water filter. ZeroWater gets rid of more toxins and dissolved solids than a Brita water filter. This 12 cup- 2.8 litre filtration system includes a 4 stage filter which insures the best filtration possible. An easy pour spout. Dissolved solids indicator to show when you need to change your filter, One touch opening and gives you the same great tasting water as purified bottled water insuring that you save money on buying bottled water from the supermarket. The ZeroWater features a space saving design allowing it to be cooled in a fridge and has a spout that you can use rather than pouring which is perfect for long hot summers that we dream of. You can purchase a ZeroWater here.

Strictly Briks Building Time-

This is one for the little ones in your life. Erin loves to celebrate Valentine’s Day with us so something fun for her is a great idea. These Strictly Briks are perfect. Erin is suddenly a huge fan of Lego and loves building little villages- The Strictly Briks enable her to do this and have fun with it as they are compatible with Lego. You can build towers, Car ramps all with ease of use from the baseplates and stackers. We will have great fun building little items and then stacking them up on towers or using Lego cars to go down the ramps on the towers. You can buy Strictly Briks from Amazon.

Valentines Mini Copper Terrarium-

I love anything twinkly and to be honest I kill most house plants and flowers pretty quickly as I forget to water them. Therefore this Terrarium is ideal for me- not only does it include Succulents which are pretty hard to kill but it also includes pretty fairy lights and a copper Terrarium to house it all in. Even better the Terrarium includes a love message on a small piece of wood- you are able to personalise this message too, just to make it that little bit more personal, which makes it perfect for any gift. The items come in all shapes and sizes from The Urban Botanist which has a fantastic range of plant based gifts. and I have a 20% off code for you to buy some of their beautiful goodies from too- VAL20.
