Out and About with Freerider #AD

I have always done a lot of walking with Edith since the day she was born, walking is great for the mind and the body but figuring out if a pushchair or carrier is better on your walk is a tough one.

We have always had a carrier but it’s quite bulky to just have in the car or bag ready for an impromptu walk. That’s where Freerider have jumped in and saved the day.

Freerider Co. is a maternity lifestyle brand focused on quality, practicality and design. They create products to provide more flexibility and freedom in making your everyday decisions – whether thats heading to a coffee shop or doing your everyday tasks with no comprise on style.

Freerider makes the softest and stylish wraps for carrying newborns to 2/3 years old or 30lbs. They come in a wide range of stunning patterns and colours which are great for any occasion.

Each wrap is Produced from exceptionally sustainable 100% Tencel. All the wraps are one size which means any body shape or size will fit including men and plus sizes.

I have always been a little fearful of baby wraps as they always look so tricky to put on. Freerider has little videos perfect for showing you the easiest ways to wrap your baby and also shows you how to make adjustments which is excellent as then you don’t have to continually start again.

The baby wraps are small enough to fit in your changing bag without causing you to have to omit other items.

I chose plain black for our wrap but the choice was difficult as the designs are so pretty. The wrap comes in a ziplock pouch with an instruction booklet. The wrap is super soft and stretchy perfect for carrying with ease.

After watching the instruction video I was able to put Edith in the carrier with ease first time. It was a little tight so I adjusted with the help of the other videos. Edith is 19 months old and quite heavy- I was worried this would be an issue with the baby wrap but it was a really comfortable way to carry her.

Overall the baby wrap was really comfortable to wear and is perfect for impromptu walks. The style is perfect and it’s extremely easy to use. We will be keeping ours in the changing bag at all times just incase it’s needed.

Edith enjoyed the closeness and was still able to look around whilst on our walk which was lovely as she’s very nosy and I don’t think she would like not having a clear view.

The Freerider baby wrap retails between £49.99 and £59.99. They are washable for any issues or illness your baby has and includes benefits for you and your baby such as being close, less crying, bonding and customised fit with no buckles. Freerider baby wrap has won the Mother And Baby gold award two years in a row! To check them out click here.
