No.1 lounge- luxury for any traveller!

I’m sat on a plane as we speak enjoying my flight to Dubai on the way to my dream destination- The Maldives!

We have been lucky enough to make our trip even more special by  being treated to the No.1 Lounge at Birmingham Airport in exchange for an honest review.

The first thing I thought was great about the lounge is “express security checks” this comes included in your booking and security was a breeze! Rather than walking through and queing there was only us and we were through security in under two minutes!

The lounge was easy to find and was located to the side of WH Smiths past the duty free shopping area. Once in the Lounge we were told the gate we would be boarding and at what time. The only thing I would say is at this point they should ask if you have been before and if you know where to go and what’s available- although this is pretty self explanatory when you sit down and read the menu. I felt a little lost prior to being seated.

We looked through the menu and ordered some hot food from the bar. Included in the price for the lounge is hot food, a selection of cakes and salads, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, newspapers and magazines.

Our food came promptly and was lovely. We had a few drinks and manage to charge up our devices as there are plug Points for usage at most chairs. There is also free VIP wifi for business users and guests.

The seating was lovely and tidy and had an elegant feel to it. I didn’t feel out of place and the staff did thier upmost to make you feel welcome. It really was the icing on the cake for our dream holiday.

The costing of the lounge is £24.00 each and that’s an all inclusive cost  apart from champagnes and proseccos. You can book at www.no1lounges.com

It was a great addition to keeping you calm if you are scared of flying or adding a touch of luxury to any flight! You can also see my whole Vlog of the Maldives on YouTube soon- faye@glossytots
