Lego Discovery and Sea life Centre Review #AD

As a family I love to plan days out for the family during the 6 weeks holiday. Let’s be honest you’re tearing out by week two of things to do! My girls have a 7 year age cap so they are either tearing each other’s hair out or they are Best mates!

Finding somewhere that caters for both girls due to their age gap is always really hard as a lot of places are aimed at one child or another! This is where Sea life Birmingham and Lego Discovery Birmingham come into their own.

We live a short drive from Birmingham or a train journey away and we enjoy going there for a day out. Both Lego Discovery and Sea life are opposite each other which is great if you want to go to both on the same day. This is completely possible but it is also possible to make a day out of both venues.

Lego Discovery

Lego Discovery is a great day out for Lego and Duplo lovers as it’s perfect for all ages. As you enter the building you are able to go on a ride to shoot all of the Lego enemies! This is perfect for all ages as even babies are allowed to ride on laps. Once you go through you are able to see the whole of Birmingham made out of Lego which is also interactive with lots of buttons to push and interactively.

After this you are able to play with Lego and duplo and head into the soft play area. In the main area it also boasts a 4D cinema, Lego racing, a toddler and baby soft play and another ride for children over 94cm. There is also a cafe and a shop- We loved going to Lego discovery with our friends and spent ages playing and doing lots of things which entertained everyone from 6months to 10yrs. What’s also great is that they have themes during certain periods and this holidays theme was pirates so we enjoyed the this and even had our picture dressed as pirates.

Sea Life Centre-

We attended Sea life centre on a different day with just my two girls. Again they have a pirate theme at the moment which is great there’s a challenge to do the whole way round alongside a prize at the end!

The sea life centre is full of fish experiences and different ways to see the fish including a 4D cinema which you will get wet in!!!

We had a great day at both attractions and would highly recommend them!
