Gorgeous Present ideas- Handmade Plaque Co

When Erin was born lots of lovely people brought us gifts for her, some personalised which were great, but I had nothing with her date of birth, weight and time on. All of which I had on a plate at my mums house, the tradition of this seems to be lost in time and its not so imperative anymore for people to feel the need to tell you what time your child was born. Although in this instance it’s a good job that my mum had mine as neither of us knew what time I was born, so that settled an argument!

The Handmade Plaque Co. was one of those websites that I could sit gazing at beautiful items thinking about what I can buy for the next occasion that one of my friends has and when we were offered the chance to review one of their products I jumped at the chance.  The company was stablished in 2008, this small cottage industry is run from my home in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. We were sent the ‘Ronnie the Rabbit’ Range which is a beautiful pink plaque with a friendly little bunny in a star! We were sent the matching set of birth keepsake and door plaque- you can buy both separately at £6.99 for the door plaque and £7.99 for the birth keepsake including postage and packing. Or £12.99 if purchased as a pair. Both prices I think are really good as they come wrapped in a separate little bag and tissue paper so would be fabulous gifts.

The plaques are made out of wood and have gorgeous little ribbons to hang them on the wall, they are not too big and not too small. They can be personalised to say whatever you want on them which is done beautifully. When Erin saw them she said they were ‘amazing’ and now have pride of place in her bedroom. When we were offered to review I had a look at all the different designs and they were great, there is something for everyone and every occasion. Definitely the one stop shop for wedding, anniversary, birth and christening gifts that are handmade with love to add the touch of personalisation to any gift. Nb. I was sent these items to give an honest review, all opinions and pictures are my own.
