#AD Making babies first holiday easier with Graco SidebySide

Holidays are always tricky with babies, especially first holidays! After having 3 children you would think I had nailed the packing list and what to take- I am a serial over packer and my husband dispairs of me!

One thing I have always done is taken a huge travel cot and when you have a tiny baby that you have to get out of bed several times a night for milk, it can be a strain on your back! This time Graco came to rescue with their SidebySide travel basinette.

We headed to Devon this summer which was Eliza’s first little trip away and this made my life so much easier she’s only two months old and I was able to get her in and out of bed with ease and not break my back in the process!

First impressions-

My first impression of the cot was how small it folds and packs within a bag for travel which is fantastic.

Putting the cot up is easy and folds with one hand! The legs come off for an even smaller fold too. The mattress is quilted and could be used with or without a sheet (Eliza is a sicky baby so we always like to use a sheet). A simple cot sheet is sufficient!

Once the cot was up next to the bed the height was great! It has mesh sides for breathable ventilation and to see little one. It also fits into small spaces as well as has a fantastic storage space underneath alongside pocket to keep essentials!

Review-

Eliza loves being in here as she doesn’t wake with her startle as it’s nice and wide so she has lots of space and wriggle room which means it will last too! The bassinet is advised to be used from birth up to approx. 6 months (0-9kg).

Eliza settled really well in this and slept excellently! To be honest much better than her Moses basket at home! (I will be switching it out when home and using this in replacement for our Moses basket too as it’s compact!

As you can see this was the perfect set up for us on holiday and hardly took up any room in the car! What I also really like about this is the price point- it’s a great price and can be found here.

Pros

Compact

Comfortable

One hand fold, folds small

Breathable sides

Great price point

Bedside height and fab for night waking.

Cons-

Only thing I would change is I would make the bag able to be zipped up!

Overall I really liked this product and will be using it daily when we’re home alongside holidays.
