Merry Christmas- What a change from last year!

Well, that’s that…another Christmas. It’s appeared quicker than a flash of light for me. This year has gone so fast.

When I think back to this time last year we were in London for an amazing show called The Christmasaurus, I was having anxiety attacks, I felt ill and I was going through IVF. I kept quiet and made sure Erin’s Christmas was the best it possibly could be and that she didn’t have to know her mum wasgoing through hell to get her the baby she had asked for every birthday and Christmas for the last few years.

In January we didn’t get the news we wanted, and it was time to go again. I was tired, but I knew I couldn’t get give up. I was not that kind of person. So again, relatively quickly it was time to go through the hell of IVF again. I didn’t tell my family members this time, I didn’t want to put everyone through the stress that Matt and I were feeling.

April rolled around, and it had worked!!! I couldn’t believe it, I can’t tell you how happy we were and that it was perfect timing and wecould tell Erin for her birthday.

8th May and Erin’s birthday was here- she was opening her presents and we had bought her a box of ‘big sister items- dolls, Moses basket etc’ lastly there was a t shirt saying ‘you’re going to be a big sister’ and a sweet with writing on. I cannot tell you how happy her little face was.

Let’s skip ahead 7 months and here we are today. Less than a week away from my due date. I literally cannot believe it. (Badly timed baby I know!!) We are all so excited.

It’s been a whirlwind but I have done well at keeping up with scheduled blog posts and tried to get into a little routine with Youtube and tried to keep up with those too. I’m hoping that next year I can really make a go of my blog and Youtube. The one thing is without you guys I wouldn’t be able to make a go of it. So to every single person who reads my blog, watches my videos and takes the time to comment and like my posts- Thank you. I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and a Happy New year. Xx
