House Series Part 2- Edith’s Bedroom

If you didn’t see part one of my new house series I have been doing which was voted for on a poll on my instagram and facebook stories. So if you haven’t checked out last week we started with the playroom. Check it out here.

Edith’s bedroom is at the front of the house opposite Erin’s bedroom and is painted in Farrow and Ball Middleton Pink which I love!

Her furniture is the Mamas and Papas Mia in grey- weirdly I don’t really like it, I love the furniture but wished we went Ivory. Matt was desperate for the grey and I was desperate for the sleigh version so we compromised! The chest of drawers converted to a changing table which was great for when she was a baby. She also has the sleigh cot bed changed to a toddler bed (see below pic).

The picture you see on her wall is from Sky High Prints who are fabulous we have bought a few pieces from them. The rug is Next and the ball pit is wayfair.

The frames, shelf and the book shelf are all Ikea and the pictures were bought from Edith’s auntie. We have also drilled our Angelcare camera (I love our angel care monitors I wouldn’t be without it for piece of mind) to the bookshelf which has worked really well.

My favourite part of the bedroom is the curtain tie backs which are magnetic which blew my mind when i bought them and these were from Amazon. I also love the roman blinds which are tiny bunnies from Blinds 2 go Cath Kidston range. They are super cute.

Recently we had a change around in this room which has been great as Edith woke super early every morning and since we have moved her next to the radiator she has slept so much better. The bedding she has just been increased to a 9 tog too as because her bedroom is so cold due to being over the garage- I have no idea how to solve this but the same thing happened when I was younger to my bedroom at my mums house! Edith loves her bedroom and enjoys spending time in there which is fab. Her bedding is also from Next and cot side is from Summer Infant (after a lot of research is appears not many sides fit the Mamas and Papas range of cots.

Hope you enjoyed this little tour of her bedroom and next week we will be having a look around Erin’s bedroom!
