Hair Disaster to Hair Heaven with Salon Blue, Bridgnorth

I was asked by the lovely Emily of Salon Blue Hair Salon to guest post about my experience within the salon.

A bit of back history to my hair. It’s crap. It’s frizzy and hard to control. I have always wanted the opposite of what I have and dreamed for years of subtle highlights. When I moved to my previous hairdresser before Salon Blue I asked her for a Jennifer Aniston style choppy bob with the same colour…. this is NOT what I got. This is the disaster I got… black roots with blonde/ginger hair all over.

Panic stations. I HATED IT. Thankfully I called Emily at Salon Blue in Bridgnorth as I had heard so many amazing things about her services.

When I first went to Salon Blue I had lost confidence in hair salons. I was stressed. After my colour test to ensure I wasn’t allergic, I was booked in. I sat down and Emily put me at ease instantly. She told me she could achieve what I wanted and set to work. She listened to my concerns and was fabulous. From my first appointment she managed to transform my hair to this:

As you would agree an amazing transformation and exactly what I wanted. Since then I have attended Salon Blue 8 weekly to have my colour done and cut every other appointment. I have complete confidence in everything Emily does. She will ensure that my hair is in tip top condition and suggest ways to keep it looking great.

My last appointment I was lucky enough to have my hair pin curled by Emily for a ball on the evening and it was fantastic. The curled stayed all night and even the next day. When looking through Emily’s website I have also seen a selection of the amazing up do’s she concocts for weddings. (If you are in need of wedding hair she is your woman!).

As I speak I am currently sat in Salon Blue and have been offered the fabulous new range of Moroccan Oil treatments. They come on a menu and I have selected the Smoothing Experience. For an extra £7 It includes;

My colour washed off and the Morrocon Oil experience commenced. As an experience it was all very relaxing and had a luxurious mask applied. Emily had even had a relaxing candle lit to enjoy the indulgence of being child free!

The end result of my Morrocon Oil Experience was soft amazingly smooth hair- it feels like silk. My colour has been amazing yet again. I had asked to go slightly darker to refresh my colour for a bit of change. It’s so gorgeous, I love it!
