Aden & Anais kids with style!

Aden & Anais not a company I had ever heard before and why not because they are fab! The tag line on their website is ‘we believe in muslin. From the breathability and natural give to the softness and durability, we aim to bring global awareness of cotton muslin and all of its benefits.’ Certainly before now I would think yeah muslin is great for wiping up baby spills but was unsure how else the material could be used. I was sent a Babygro for Maisie and a Towel for Erin.

when I took the baby grow out I was unsure as to how I felt about the muslin being the material, it felt like it was going to be too cool for her and not a sustainable material for everything baby related. We continued to try this out as Maisie gets a little sweaty at night and wanted to know if the product would help and it definitely helped her feel cooler than a normal cotton Babygro. I love the fact when the Babygro is on it doesn’t have any finicky poppers as they are the bain of my life! Instead it has a very fine small zip that you can’t even see when its closed and the zip Is covered by material at the top of the Babygro so it doesn’t hurt babies neck. We liked the fact it was colour of pink and white stripes and not just boring neutral colours, which in honesty being a muslin material I assumed it would be.  The material isn’t stretchy like normal cotton baby grows but is definitely sized perfectly with a little growing room comparative to the label enclosed. At £26.99 for the Babygro it is quite expensive and I don’t think I would spend that much, but I suppose it depends on personal preference. All in All the baby grow was very cute, did what it said on the tin and was natural especially for Maisie’s Eczema which can flare up if harsh properties are used in clothes etc.

Our Second product for Erin was our favourite! It’s a lovely large towel in white with Fluorescent Pink Stars at the bottom of it, the towel is a toddler towel but is sized at 127cm x 76cm and rectangular so it is large enough to grow with your toddler to teen years. It is pre washed and is made of Terry Towelling with a Cotton Muslin Edge which is really soft to touch and holds the wet and doesn’t get sodden easily unlike other towels. The towel is machine washable and easy to care for and even gets softer with every wash it has! Erin loves this towel and even sits and snuggles in it when dry as it is so soft. It would be a good towel to take pool side and the beach also as it dries quickly too. At £27.99 I think this is reasonable for a towel that will be able to be used for years to come. Its Natural and is a really lovely design definitely a winner in our house!
